Цілі:
Практична: повторити раніше вивчені ЛО теми, ознайомити учнів з новими ЛО, формувати лексичні навички, тренувати учнів в діалогічному мовленні;
Розвиваюча: розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів, сприяти розвитку самостійного мислення, розвивати пам'ять;
Виховна: виховувати культуру
спілкування, увагу, уміння чітко виконувати вказівки вчителя, інтерес до вивчення
англійської мови.
Тип уроку: урок
введення нових ЛО та формування навичок діалогічного мовлення.
Обладнання: підручник, дошка, роздатковий
матеріал.
Хід уроку:
І. Організація
класу. Привітання. Повідомлення теми уроку.
T: Good morning, everybody! I'm
glad to see you. How are you today?
Cl: Good
morning! We are glad to see you, too. We are fine, thank you.
T: Today we continue working at our topic "Health" and I
want you to guess the subtopic of our today`s lesson. Look at the blackboard.
You see a mobile phone there. You can see numbers and letters on the buttons.
Use this mobile phone and try to decipher the word.

T: That`s right. Today we will speak about medicine.
ІІ. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу.
T: Work in groups. Complete the Mind Map. Write down the words connected with the topic "Health".
Робота в групах.
Учні отримують листки з Mind Map і в групах заповнюють
її. По закінченні роботи, група, яка справилася першою зачитує свої слова, інші групи
зачитують слова, яких ще не називали.

Оpen your books at p.100. Look at ex. 2a. Listen and repeat after me.
An aspirin – аспірин;
A cough syrup – сироп від кашлю;
Cough drops – краплі від кашлю;
A nasal spray – спрей
для носа;
Cold tablets – таблетки від застуди;
Vitamins – вітаміни;
Eye drops – краплі
для очей;
A pill / a tablet –
таблетка;
A teaspoon / a tablespoon – чайна ложка, столова ложка;
An ointment – мазь;
A heating pad – грілка;
An ice pack – пузир з
льодом;
A lotion – лосьйон.
T: Now, I will show you different medicines and
your task is to name them.
T: Now, look at ex.3, p.101. Let`s read and complete the sentences,
using our new words or word-combinations.

Mrs. Petrenko: Good afternoon, doctor. I don`t feel very well now.
Doctor: Good afternoon, Mrs. Petrenko. What`s
the matter?
Mrs. Petrenko: I have a headache.
Doctor: Here is a thermometer. Take your temperature.
Mrs. Petrenko: It`s 36,6 (thirty-six and six).
Doctor: Well, I think that`s because of the weather. Take this pill. It will help
you.
Mrs. Petrenko: Thank you, doctor. Goodbye!
Doctor: Goodbye!
What`s the matter? – Що сталося?
T: Work in pairs. One of you is a doctor, the other one is
a patient. Make up your own dialogue. Use this scheme to help you.
Patient: Good afternoon, doctor. I feel bad.
Doctor: Good afternoon. What`s the matter?
Patient: I have a _____________. (bad cold / sore throat / headache / toothache /
stomachache) (I am also coughing and sneezing)
Doctor: Here is a thermometer. Take your temperature.
Patient: It`s ___________. (36,6 / 37,5 / 38 / …)
Doctor: Well, ____________ (take this pill / take one teaspoon of this cough syrup
3 times a day / use this nasal spray. It will help you.
Patient: Thank you, doctor. Goodbye!
